From managing hospitality businesses to starting nonprofit organizations to implementing electoral, contract, and policy campaigns - Nikki has over 25 years of experience coaching individuals, creating winning teams, cultures, and operational structures. Nikki has 15 years of experience building values-based coalitions, developing winning campaign strategies, and implementing complex policy and electoral campaigns. Nikki led DC's Paid Sick Days, Minimum Wage, and Wage Theft Prevention Legislative and Implementation Campaigns from 2009-2016. Between 2017 - 2021, Nikki developed and implemented both local and national campaign strategies for the Real Meals Campaign, One Fair Wage, Bargaining for the Common Good, and The Alliance to Reclaim Our Schools Prince George's County. Additionally, Nikki has served on the kitchen cabinets of 5 democratic candidates, coordinated 80 grassroots candidates to run on progressive democratic slates for local office, and co-managed the mobilization of 50,000 first-time voters in battleground states in the 2020 presidential election on the issue of One Fair Wage and Unemployment Insurance, using relational voter digital technology.

From leading virtual and IRL public discussions and panels, candidate forums, policy briefings, podcasts, fundraisers, creative actions and demonstrations, and trainings - Nikki has been a public figure and narrative influencer on the national workers' rights scene since 2009.  Throughout her career, she has raised millions of dollars & resources by effectively writing grants, cultivating relationships, and coordinating and hosting fundraising drives for the movement.  Nikki also writes creatively to advocate and educate people about workers' rights and organizing.  She is currently writing GLAMBO - a horror-comedy graphic novel about low wage service workers who organize to liberate their zombie planet, as well as "Advice for 21st Century Organizers" - a love letter full of no-nonsense lessons and stories for and by all types of organizers.
